Rodders154
I purchased a Merlin helicopter for £20 from a model shop and on opening I found that it had the decals missing. I emailed Italeri and they want 6 Euros for the replacements. I paid good money for the kit and I expect it to be all there. I am a bit annoyed that they think that because they have mucked up I have to pay. What does the panel think? Rodders Mods if this is in the wrong place please move. Pat C
Was it a new kit? I think your best bet would be to return it to the shop for a refund which they should give you for selling you a kit not of marketable quality. Pat
Test Graham
Your first step is to return it to the shop where you bought it, because your contract was with that shop not with Italeri. The proprietor is required to refund or replace. He then has to pass it back up the chain. This is a regular story in computer magazines, or at least the one I get, and the advice is always the same. You have no call on the original manufacturer: some will respond but this is generosity beyond their legal (or possibly moral) requirements. Rodders154
By the time I take it back mess about with car parking and the time involved I will order a set of after market decals off the net.. I have about 40 Italeri kits and this is the only one with a problem. The decals are no good for anything other than a merlin. I love Italeri helicopters but this leaves a taste in the mouth. Kit is the RAF one. Rodders
