Tony C
Have to say the the XVI is my favourite of the the baby Spits so will be adding at least a few to the stash! I wonder if Eduard will release a Royal boxing consisting of the Mk.VIII, Mk.IX and the Mk.XVI?

Thomas V.
Nice to see 1/48 Dual Combo editions coming back from Eduard, last real good one ( in my view ) being Fw 190 Nachtjager boxing of mid 2009, just hope that pricing policy did not change. Would be nice to see more Dual Combo boxings since they offered very good allround package. What about Israeli Spitfire MK.IXs,( giving new underwing tanks for Op.Velvet ) Russian Spitfire Mk.IXs ( with specific antennas and other small dif.) French Indochina Mk.IXs Photo-Rec. FR.Mk.IXs American Mk.IXs Very Early Mk.IXs ( conversions )

FranciscoPRG
Nice! Would it be released as a weekend kit? Like, in the old 1/72 Heller silver dressing? http://www.ipmsusa3.org/gallery/d/166662-3/Spitfire_Mk_XVI_E_Heller_282_72nd.jpg Cheers! GregW
I've got one of the Dual Combo kits plus two sets of plastic parts with photo etch sitting In front of me and it looks every bit as good as the two previous kits. Would have preferred it if Eduard had issued the bubble top as a stand alone kit, but the dual combo makes perfect sense from a sales and marketing point of view!! One thing that is slightly puzzlingly is the difference in retail price between the two UK Importers! Creative Models being some £4.51 cheaper than Hannants? Same applies to the new Vietnam A-4 where they are cheaper by a fiver??? Greg
Shar2
Got mine this morning from MJR Models on a really good deal. Superb pair of kits in one box.
jenko
Got mine this morning also. If anyone is doing TB752, Eduard have the wrong wing for it. It should be a clipped wing with upper wing wheel bulges. This aircraft is now in the Spitfire and hurricane museum at RAF Manston and was restored by The Medway Aircraft Preservation Society) I have informed Eduard of this. Still cracking kits though. DaveCromie
Oh for crying out loud Eduard, stop trying to bankrupt me! I just bought a pair of Mk VIIIs to go with my Royal Edition Mk IXs and now this? Roll on pay day so I can fill Eduard's coffers a little bit more! DC
