Mumbly
Please sir One of these in purple please. Or metallic brown ? Owned one of each of the Kawa triples, in varying guises S1, S2, KH 250, KH400, KH500 and one of these. Had to be the most antisocial machine I ever had, but enormous fun / most frightening bike I ever road. And from today: Edited February 21, 2016 by Mumbly
Billydick
Ok Mz now defunct I believe ... but this has to be imo on the best looking modern superbikes. Mick Minns rode one in the MGP a few years ago and blew away the Aprillas and Ducatis. And boy, you could hear it coming all the way from Kirk Michael... (I live in Ballaugh). Awesome. BillyD Ps apologies to those not familiar with TT course .... BillyD

For me, this is a close runner:http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/200610/2006-benelli-tornado-tre-_600x0w.jpg I plan to have one of these this year! They're exceptional value for money too. ocatlub
Just for a bit of nostalgia ... Santi Herrero's 250 Ossa from early seventies. BillyD Fabulous bike and rider, saw them both in the 1970 TT when he was killed trying to beat the Yamahas, for a single cylinder stroker it was disgustingly quick. Sad.
Mike
My Phwoar bike doesn't have an engine. Sadly, I had to give up mountain biking years ago, but if I could still ride & had the money, this would be near the top of my list: Couldn't let you motorbikers get it all your own way, could I?

Mumbly
Seeing the picture of the Ossa, how about this one for the aficionados. A Cobas - 250cc with a parallel twin Rotax. Alan Carter nostalgia aside, the Braun livery is spot on IMO. The Cobas had the initial success with the "Deltabox" type of frame that nearly all current MotoGP, Superbike and sports road bikes now use. Not bad for a garage in Barcelona, and helped by some fantastic moustaches.

mollythedog
Like several have said, could fill a warehouse with all the ones I'd like. But a badly mangled leg after an argument with a 4x4 driven by a someone more intent on checking her make up than which side of the road she should have been on limits my choices. I fell in love with the look of this when I saw it,and even after 10 years of ownership still love it.Shame it handles like a tin dustbin in a force 10 gale though....build quality nothing to write home about, considering the price either. the pig by plastichacker, on Flickr Would love an RC30 though,or my old Mk3 Commando back! mtd

Mike
And that saddle looks like it'll do ya a bit mischief BillyD You just have to condition your "sit" bones to it, or swap the saddle out from your old bike. I still have my 2005 S-Works Stumpy, so I could always do that It's all academic anyway! That's rubbish Boss! It ain't got any pedals! Rick. They do come with some cheapo pedals, but pedal choice is pretty personal, and anyone laying down that sort of cash on a bike (it's about £6k) would probably have their own favourite.
chris57
I was going to say that's getting close to the ultimate, the Claude Butler 10 speed racing bike of the 60's. Ah! dream on.
Rick Brown
£6K! I'd want a big engine on it for that much! Rick.

Interesting Mike ... I have an American saddle called The Seat which effectively has no 'nose' on the saddle ( I have a prob which means I can't ride with a conventional saddle). So basically you sit on your 'sit' bones and there is no contact with the groin, but it does pitch you forward a bit. I have a recumbent as well which is a bit like cycling in an armchair - very relaxing ! BillyD
D1fuN0
Chaps... Bicycles!!!!!!!... I go away for ten minutes and this forum descends into madness... I thought they were outlawed when they dumped all the horses in scenic fields and the internal combustion engine was invented... I rate bicycleses somewhere up there with caravans and the kartrashians as probably the worst things ever invented... But hey, that's just me... Pure, hand-made madness! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britten_V1000 Just a shame there doesn't seem to be a kitset of this (that I'm aware of). I remember hearing their moulds were destroyed in an earthquake so no more. You can still find the kits on EBay if you have a large enough wallet! Here you go: http://www.britten.co.nz/history/babybrit.html Edited March 7, 2016 by vontrips
