Jonny
I think many of us know how useful this product can be. I bought some recently in a well known UK shop (WHS) but when I went back last week was told it's now sold out and it's not expected that it will be restocked. In my town the last 'real' stationers closed some while ago and WHS is the only retailer left. So - if you use Dymotape and need a 'stock', look around now! Hope this info. is useful, Jonny Edited September 24, 2013 by Jonny
Nigel Heath
I think you mean Dymo Tape. I use this as a guide for scribing, fortunately I have a good stock.
Caerbannog
Dymo tape is still available from several online sources including Amazon, so I do not think it is no longer produced. But thanks a lot for the warning. Rene
Rick Brown
It's darn expensive though! Is there a cheaper alternative? Rick Strapped for cash, as always.

This sounds like WHS's decision on what to stock and not a reflection of Dymo no longer producing tape, the company would appear to be in fine shape: http://global.dymo.com/enGB/About/default.html

Tomjw
You can make it last longer by cutting along its length (along the middle). I have been doing this until I bought some scribing templates (two for less than £10 at the last show I went to. The scribing templates have squares, rectangle, circles, ovals as well as long straight edges. Excellent value. Hope this helps. Tom.
Murdo
Can the paper version be used for scribing or does it have to be the metal type?
Phil Ogden
Discount stationers usually stock it.

rotorheadtx
Dymo tape is common as dirt at Walmart in the States. http://www.walmart.com/ip/DYMO-Assorted-Embossing-Tape-3-pack/15421347 $6.37 for a three-pack, or $4.21 for a single of the metal tape.... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dymo-Rhino-Metal-Label-Non-Adhesive-Tape/23965540
