tommyinuk0
Hi all, I Wanted to share my latest creation, an Academy 1-35 scale MH-60G Pavehawk, the kit was a joy to build and is a fair size at 17 inches in length. I have a fairly photo heavy thread but I hope you like the end result. I will begin with one photo of the finished item them show pictures during building. The box. Auxiliary Fuel tank assembly and minigun/M-2 Machine gun magazine I tried a new effect by applying Kitchen tissue paper with PVA glue onto the insides and top of the fuselage cabin. When dry this can be painted and washed and gives a much better effect than just having straight plastic on show. I added folded tissue paper glued with PVA to form seat cushions, giving a little bit more depth to the seats. The finished item. Some points of interest: I have added wire wrapped around a cocktail stick and painted inside the cabin to represent the intercom wires which hang down from the roof for crewmembers to plug into. I also drilled out any vents which had moulded plastic on and placed wire mesh behind, giving a more realistic effect as can be seen in the photo below. The kit bags were the Tamiya Military Miniatures 1/35 scale modern U.S Military Equipment Set which filled the inside and makes it look more 'used'. This is a great set with plenty of bags etc which can be used on vehicles as well, this set is not too expensive also which makes it attractive. I hope you like the photos and welcome constructive criticism and feedback. Thanks for lloking. Tommy

Spitfire31
The posed photos had me wondering if I was looking at the real thing or the model that you claimed that you'd built… ;-) The rotor head looks awesome in the c/u pic. But – no seat belts? Truly impressive work! Kind regards, Joachim
tommyinuk0
Thanks for all the positive comments, I agree Joachim that seat belts would have been a good addition and for some reason I never even thought of them! Till your post, so thanks. I have also realised I have taken the photos without adding the doors! Regards Tommy
