Jabba
That new box art is much better. Does it say what markings come with it?
RNoAF Aerobatic Team
Ok. Just bought the "old" one... What's wrong with the wings?
SaintsPhil
Ok. Just bought the "old" one... What's wrong with the wings? I was just wondering that too....is it maybe seperate flight controls and or flaps and slats?
Mozzy19
Ok. Just bought the "old" one... What's wrong with the wings?I was thinking that too. From various reviews I've read, I didn't think it had too many problems.
Stephen
I think the new issue comes with the wings in one piece making it easier to build with the wings spread whereas the first issue made it easier to build with the wings folded if that makes any sense. XV571
Ørjan yes, the wings will now be in the 'fully spread' configuration as opposed to 'folded'. I hope they've also added the missing wing fence on the left hand wing uppersurface! You can see the difference in this picture from the review that Mike did in 2010: Compare http://www.britmodeller.com/reviews/luckymodel/kinetic/ea-6b/wings.jpg to this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f5/Usnavy.ea6b.prowler.750pix.jpg Jonathan

flarpen
I hope they correct the colors on the decals for the fin markings on the black surface. I really like this scheme, always wanted to build this one.
71chally
I like those markings, so will probably buy this boxing - shades of the old Airfix kit there!

I really like this scheme, always wanted to build this one. If they don't change those to white ink it's a deal-breaker. May the second, red-tailed, boxing be built with folded wings OOB (with some judicious cutting along indentations)? Or was it spread-only? Just in case the Marines edition features the same set of sprues. Would be nice to have the tinted canopy parts as an option, to replicate the Indium Tin oxide "gold" coating.
