Smiffy
Quite interested to see the sprue shots as well. It's one I've nearly bought on a number of occasions.
tinytuco
Oh I love the Huey!!! Is this the same as the Italeri boxing?? Tuco
hythe
Excellent choice! Cue nerdy discussion of whether this is really a B or a C-model Huey... Think I have a couple of these lurking in the stash...
Col.
Well as a Monogram kit it'll at least have some attempt at interior detail, plenty weapons, fit will be good as well. Was there a replacement kit of this from Italeri perhaps more recently?
Radleigh
Thanks for the interest. As Col says, detail is good for it's age, it has been up in my parents loft since god knows when, must have been one of the kit's I bought out of pocket money at a model fair or something! I shall do a good selection of photos tonight showing all the sprues etc

JosephLalor
I put this one together in the early '80s and liked it. I remember it being quite detailed. Joseph

dazdot
I started one of these from a revell boxing and I have to say I gave up! mainly because it was revell boxed and hideously squashed! interior detail however is very good oob it's just a shame my fuselage sides were do deranged I couldn t save it. hobbycraft have em for about a tenner
John_W
I build the Revell re-box and it was challenging to say the least.

Radleigh
Progress today (feel like a teenager again building this!), got the cockpit nearly done and painted, painting as per instructions. Really need to source some decals but will look into that in a few weeks.

Radleigh
The only other option is to use spares, but I don't have any of that sort sadly, will sort something nearer the time I hope

pacificmustang
A bit of inspiration for you (hopefully) with a bit of love and attention, makes up into a nice model Heres one I made a couple of years ago with a few additions, done as a RAAF SAR helicopter from the "70's I wish someone would do a new tool of this, and I dont mean the Hobbyboss one. Enjoy the build Radleigh Bruce
