oppenheimer
Here is a brief tip on how to paint the burnt metal effect Let me try to explain, my english is not that good but i will do my best, the burnt effect on the tail is not that hard to do, i used only ALCLAD II paints for the stains. First you paint the tail with Polished Aluminum color, the you use this colors, all from ALCLAD: hotmetal blue, hotmetal violet and transparent yellow, with a fine tip airbrush and low pressure air you start with the thin bule lines, then you apply the violet, but careful, dont overlap the colors because you will get a different color and it look ugly Finally you apply the yellow, but be careful with this color because its tonallity is to strong so you must aply it in light coats and dont go over the blue with it, it will cause the blue to turn green and that color is not natural on burnt metal. Hope this will help you Jorge
