Eduard Me110D 1/48 Exhausts and wheels

Hi,

I am currently in the process of building Eduards Me110 D. I have read a few reviews of people using after market resin engine exhausts. The thing is though I cannot find any where to buy any, anyone have any ideas?

Also I am led to believe that the me110 D had smooth treadless tyres, are the kit ones incorrect then? Which ones are the right ones?

Any help would be great and appreciated.

I have been through hannants, they have them for C and E models on 1/48 scale but not the D.

Thanks for replying so late on a Thursday.

I could be wrong, but it always appeared to me that the exhaust stacks were the same for the Bf110C through F variants, so your D should be covered with C/E exhausts.

The exhausts for the C/E can also be used on the D version.

Here is the site for Quickboost in 1/48. There are there some exhausts for your Bf-110. at number QB48 167 you see that they made for the Fujimi kit one and the same exhaust for the C and D version.

For some wheels, take a look here.

This is the search of the site for all the goodies for a Bf-110.

I hope this will help.

Cheers,

Hi as stated by Arniec the exhausts for Me110D are exactly the same as for the 110E as both used the same engine. Quickboost actually make replacements for the Eduard kit ref; QB 48 155.

As for the wheels the ones supplied in the kit are inaccurate,as Eduard themselves admitted, replacements are available from Eduard,Mastercasters & Aerocast.

Tyres for the 110 were usually smooth.Might be worth a look on Ebay as some modelshops use it for internet sales. hope this is of some use to you.

Hi,

Thanks all for your input. I had a feeling the tyres were incorrect but did not know which we're the right ones. I think I will buy the earlier ones and get some resin exhausts as listed above.

Thank you guys.
