jetboy
SORRY ,photo bucket decided to have a dicky, heres the rest of the pics..... and alongside the 1/72 shuttle one of the boosters.... you can see the wall thickness of the boosters here 4 boosters well the main core/tank the seams look big,but actually well smoothed off. its like a big drainpipe,on the bench ivetaped the boosters on just so you get some idea how big this is... with the cargo on with the shuttle trying for size all the add on detail is in one bag which contains the smaller bags the clear stand and bolt i can split the bags and have a look at the detail if you want? cheers Don large paint guide, one side shuttle other side the stack.. not many decals for such a big kit? right back to the box,as i found out last time i got one of these a models, the main components are ready moulded, glass fibre i think?so it was,nt a suprise this time, the buran little bit of detailing on the wing edges, not a lot? some idea how fat the wings are? underside,it can be displayed wheels down, but on the stack,i think might be better... you can see the difference here with the powered test version on the right, with groove for the extra engines

GordonD
Don, Is that tanker full of white paint still parked outside your house? Hi pete, its parked behind the one full of john smiths, just so you know? Don - for God's sake don't get them mixed up. A stomachful of white paint might not do you any harm (so long as it's acrylic) but I'd hate to think what spraying John Smith's might do to that beautiful model...
