1-144 Eurofighter Typhoon

Recommended Posts

Just finished building the Revell 1-144 Eurofigter Typhoon. A nice wee kit that went together well. The panel lines are a bit too deep as the Typhoon seems to be quite a smooth aircraft. I still haven't decided whether to leave the canopy open or closed.

Hope you like it.

Here's the cockpit first:

Bang Seat with straps from foil (I think)

The kit had no ASRAAMs so I scratched some from sprue and styrene and added bands from printer coloured decal paper.

This is the three 1-144 kits I've built so far: Revell Typhoon, Revell Tornado and Airco De Havilland DH-2 (fully rigged too - very proud of that one).

I must admit that (to my great surprise) I'm really enjoying building in this scale.

If you had n't mentioned the scale I think folk would be hard pressed to tell.

The Revell Typhoon does look good. They appear to have got the shape right.

They are all superb but that DH-2 is astonishing. Having just (badly) rigged a 1/72nd scale Fury I really don't know how you managed that. Hats off to you Sir.

Very nice Typhoon there, I built one last year, but I turned mine into a bombtruck. The kit was apparently designed by Edward, might explain why it fits together well :P

Love the Tornado and the DH-2, both class examples also :)

Kind Regards

Dazz
