Spectacular build, and very inspirational! Thanks for sharing!

By the way, could you tell us which Lifecolor paints you used on Warspite, and which are good matches for RN AP507A, B, and C (per your previous comment on this matter)?

And have you matched Lifecolor paints to any other RN colors?

Please advise.

Thanks so much!

Thanks all, hope those who went enjoyed SMW. I managed to forget my camera which was annoying as there were some great new models displayed this year.

Mike, I used the following Lifecolor paints for 507A, B, C :

Dark Sea Grey - FS 26152

Dark Grey - FS 36081

Light Gull Grey - FS 36440

I can't remember off the top of my head where the reference to use these colours came from, it may have been directly off the Academy instruction booklet (will have to have a dig through to remind myself), but from what I can tell from the limited resources available the colours look to be a decent representation. As mentioned before, the good thing about Life Color is that they're so easy to use with both airbrush and paint brush with good smooth coverage, they mix well, and they thin and clean with water.
