PlaStix
Hi all, Just thought I'd upload a few pictures of the real space kits I've managed to complete since getting back into kit building. I'm sure everyone's seen them (and probably built them) many times but I enjoyed making them all. They are all mostly out the box with a few modifications here and there (for example I added plume deflectors on the Revell Lunar Module). The Revell kit was the first one I built after finding it on sale in Modelzone. I enjoyed building a Lunar Module so much I followed it with two more from Dragon Models straight away. Then while looking in the Airfix magazine I saw the Hasegawa Shuttle/Hubble kit. . They can be found here. My current build of Bandai's ISS Space Suit can be found here. Cheers, Stix Edited August 26, 2013 by PlaStix
Tabio
I really like all of those, particularly the Dragon LEMs- the 1/72 astronauts are excellently moulded. Well made and painted set of models!
PlaStix
Hi Andy, Thank you for your comments - I've seen your work and it's excellent. Yes I like the Dragon LEM's - in fact I like the 1:72 version the best. To me it seemed to have more detail. Cheers, Stix
SleeperService
Just seen these from your introduction link. If your models aren't very good who do these belong to then???? I've had three attempts at the gold foil on my LM, it's currently in the quarantine zone while I steel myself for another go..... you've got exactly the effect I'm aiming at. Very nice builds and good finishing.
