Being a relatively new member to britmodeller I'm yet to have started my first Work in Progress project, so without further delay I'm going to start this first one as of this week. My last helicopter was over 10 years old, which was actually the last kit I made in my teenage years if I recall correctly. I originally thought about, lets go small with a 1/72 kit, but I've opted to throw myself into the deep end with a large project. The Academy 1/48 CH-53E Sea Stallion I'm hoping to have this completed before Xmas as I juggle work and family life, but I'm hoping for a good result. I've made a good amount of room for this one, the option for the folded rotors are the main reason for choosing this one, as with the rotors in fly mode I would not be able to display the chopper in my display cabinet.
