Airfix Land Rover Snatch

Hi folks.

Im new to this site but have been building kits since I was a nipper , I mostly like to build modern british so the new kits from Kits from Airfix are most welcomed.

My 1st Snatch is a version based on a vehicle used during OP Telic (Iraq)

My 2nd is the Snatch + as used in OP Herrick (Afghanistan)

My 3rd is a Snatch belonging to 321 EOD during OP Banner (NI)

Hi Sean .

Thanks for the comment mate , the Baracuda was all made from tea bags ! open the tea bag at the seams ant tip the tea leaves into a container.

With the tea bag empty cut it to fit the sections of the roof , once done soak it into PVA glue and water and then lay it over the roof sections.

Allow it to dry for a while and then re cover with PVA glue and sprinkle the tea leaves over the panels , allow it to dry fully then paint.

It doesn't come out to bad mate.

Hi Dave.

Many thanks for the comments , the EOD Rover is correct as vehicles serving across the water in NI were all green unlike EOD vehicles on the main land which had the red front wings.
