Rob P
Have just remembered the Panda C-17's in 1:72. Had one on pre-order from Hannants for ages, then it simply vanished.
Giorgio N
If we consider kits that were announced but never issued, I can add the Fujimi 1/72 F-102 and F-106. These were announced for a good number of years starting around 1984 but unfortunately none of them ever appeared. Considering that in the meantime Fujimi issued their Cutlass series, one can only dream of what such models would have been like, they'd have made every USAF fan happy
GreenDragon
I'd add Italeri Gazelle to that list Paul!! Don't remember that one Dave! When did that happen? Reckon that would be a cracker, got the Fujimi kit in 1/48th but it's a bit rough in parts. Paul Harrison

Panda announced a lot of stuff that never arrived, had a list years ago but lost it.The C-17 was on my wanted list. Paul Harrison

Mind you when/if we ever get it, will it be any good. Will they have actually done a good job regards accuracy. Martin
Dave Fleming
Mention of the Devastator reminds me of Academy's original announcement of a range of WW2 types in the mid/late 80s - including a Dauntless, which has never appeared. Most of the others have.
Tripehound
Valom's kits emerge only after a long confinement, if at all. Will I live to see their Bristol Bombay?
Caerbannog
Just came to my mind: HobbyEasy has an Academy B-29 & X-1 combo announced with the exp. release date 2000-01-01 (http://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/17887.html) I never saw it announced anywhere else. I asked the Academy importer about this several years ago but they did never hear about this and could not find out anything.
Paul J
Quite a few by Minicraft in the last 10 years or so. A number of 1/144 types mentioned but the KC-135 is only just about making an appearance. On the other hand some kits suddenly appear and not many people know/knew about them! Can't think of any per se but I know there were some.
