1/12 Revell Shelby Mustang - opening doors

The usual method of scoring with the back of a blade works OK. Clean up the edges and if necessary sort any gaps out with a thin strip of plasticard. It's the done thing over here www.modelcarsmag.com

Hinges from bent wire are popular too. The site's worth a look as there's plenty of action there.

Just finished one, but the body shell and internal parts are two separates, so would need a great deal of fiddling to get right, and scratching to get just so...

I thought about doing it doors open, but then reaslised the gulf between my dreams and my skill would result in money down the drain
