Mike Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 New photos of the 2nd run of test shot material. This is now ready for manufacture and should be with dealers in around a month. Personally, I can't wait to get our test shot in to pore over Mike. 3
redcap Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I'm no expert on the MIG 25 and whether the test shots suggest they "got it right" but I will be getting one of these kits for certain. Just watch the flood of old Revell MIG 25 kits and associated aftermarket start hitting eBay in the coming weeks and months. Gary
thepureness Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 This will be my first Kittyhawk kit without shadow of a doubt, single seater version for certain though
hacker Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 (edited) Would be nice to have a decent one in 1/72 scale for a change too Edited August 20, 2013 by hacker
Col. Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Well there goes my modelling budget. Brave move producing the two-seater & gives me a dilema on which one to buy first.
general melchett Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Looking good from the test shots, the panel detail looks nicely done and it's great to see the centre line tank's included. I'm sure there'll be a plethora of AM stuff for it before too long (I really hope they go for a reece version at some point too). Yes, the twin seater really doesn't win any beauty awards does it !
Phantom726 Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 I have a spare kidney going cheap if anyone's interested! :-) This has to be THE 1/48 scale aircraft kit of the year. It will be interesting to see how the kit measures up to the real thing! Regardless of the outcome I will be getting a few for the stash!
Marlin Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Now I know what to put on my Christmas list. /Bosse
IXGR1 Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Ohhhhh......yummy - a whole lot of ugly (Is that the shadow of a Mig-31, I don't see?) Dear Missis Santa Claus..........
SleeperService Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Ugly it may be but I've wanted to do a two seater ever since I can remember. The take-off and landing from the front seat must be awesome. Agree a strong contender for kit of the year and it's only August! However there is a certain Swedish offering on the way from a partnership......
Av8fan Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 it has been announced that the kit will be getting some re-working. Thanks to Glen(Kagnew) and the folks at Kitty Hawk.
spruecutter96 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 They look very, very, very cool indeed. Can we have a 1/32nd scale version now, please?
boom175 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Still didn't do anything to the windshield!
Mike Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 Who knows whether that's part of the re-working? What's up with it anyway?
luis pacheco Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 This are the same pictures. Nothing new.
Homebee Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) This are the same pictures. Nothing new. You're right Luis. Have a look at the Gallery: http://www.kittyhawkmodel.com/#!80119/c1xsy V.P. Edited September 19, 2013 by Homebee
