Stu_davros
Personally I believe the simplest explanation is the generally the correct one. A base for a top secret spy plane is a lot more believable than a store for alien artifacts. Yes the truth is out there and it's normally quite mundane. Sgt.Squarehead
Don't think there was ever any doubt: http://www.ufomind.com/area51/desertrat/ Fascinating site (now dormant), don't be put off by the UFO bit in the URL.....It's really not that sort of site! jasman71
I always imagined the Iraqi I of chap, Comical Ali, getting the press liaison job outside Area 51.. Standing there insisting there is no such place, whilst in the background you can see triangular anti-grav machines coming in to land! I think whilst the base MAY have held possible UFO technology, I doubt very much there would have been anything there ever since they realised the soviet satellites were coming over , plus of course they were quick to confiscate the surrounding peaks where the base could clearly be seen, albeit from a distance of 20 miles I think. I do, however, go along with a common line of thinking I have heard on many a podcast . That is, whatever they USAF announce in terms of latest fighter technology, it is quite possible that it is still years, if not decades, ahead of what they are revealing.
