1/32 Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker B - Blue 38 Kilp Yavr - new pics

Recommended Posts

Hello guys!

Thank you very very much for your comments.

as for the faded decals, I weathered them by drybrushing some white oil paint.

I also sprayed a very diluted layer of gray on them.

They are brighter on the front fuselage because this part is protected with canvas cover on the actual aircraft.

Concerning the metal areas, I work with Humbrol Metalcote 27003.

I thin it with "white spirit" and spray with airbrush.

after 10 min of drying time, I rub the paint with a tissue. This makes the metal shine to appear.

Some color modulations are added by sraying red, copper, alu, black...

I also added some tamyia weathering powders from set "D": burnt blue and burnt red.

Thanks again for watching and leaving comments and questions ;^)

Cheers

Rom

hi!

thank you very much guys!

I found a box big enough to store and carry the Flanker at model shows!

It will travel across France during October ;^)

It will be exhibited at Hyères, Besançon and Colmar shows.

Perfectly! :speak_cool:

I especially like your realistic weathering as seems to be like the real Flankers on duty...

I'm agree....

But the main drawback is the pylons without arms A-A class (imho)

Thank you guys!

I planned to set training missiles.

But i do not have so many pictures of that planes with loads.

I was thinking of setting just two under the wings...

Maybe later ;^)

Hello Rom
I do not like too ultra-modern planes, my concept of modern aircraft stops in the 70s, so I will give an opinion on the technique and coloring:

EXCELLENT!

Greetings from Italy

Bonjour Rom
Je n'aime pas trop les avions ultra-modernes, mon concept d'avions modernes s'arrête dans les années 70, donc je vais donner un avis sur la technique et la coloration:

EXCELLENT!

Salutations de l'Italie
