Italeri 1/48 Hurricane

Hi everyone, currently working on the Italeri 1/48 hurricane Mk.1

I am a little disappointed with the fit of the kit tbh, the engine cover is a pain along with the exhausts. I'ld prefer the engine to be optional and for an exposed engine option the modeller to have to remove the engine panels manually. Other than this the kit is ok.

This is the chosen subject

I'm using Tamiya and xtracrylix paints, Xtracrylix seemed to be the only manufacturer I could find that produced Azure Blue, but it does come out extremely bright so my model will need a tone down.

Unfortunately I didn't take any snap shots of the beginning of the build but I've got these 2 snaps just sealed the decals in with the kits 2nd gloss coat and about to start some weathering, see if we can brighten down that blue.

You've done a good job there. I started to build this kit along with the aires cockpit about 4 months ago and found it to be a real pig..in fact I never finished it...but you have done it justice.
