madaboutmodels
Hi all Im a big fan of the Avro RJ/146/RJX. I see them everyday. Id like to do the prototype Avro RJX85, before the project and the aircraft was scrapped.... Anyway, i have the revell kit of the regular 146/RJ. But the RJX has different engines, Thats the only external difference between them. I already know that there are no aftermarket engines. But revell have announced that they are to make a model of the Scaled Composites White Knight Two. This is powered by 4 PW304's, the RJX was powered by 4 Honeywell AS977 engines. So would i be able to use the engines from the White Knight, they look similar. If i was to mod the engines i think they could pass. So would it work? Thanks Bradley
ATPER
they do look similar, but you would need to add some length....
