GuidoKM Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 Hi all,Please don't be too judge mental, but I thought I'd share my first attempt at one of the new tooling typhoons that Airfix have recently released. And what a fantastic kit it is, feel bad for not letting it go to someone who knows what they're doing a little better... Haha. But anyway, here she is! I made the starter kit version as that was the only one I could find(and still haven't seen a "normal" boxed kit since) at the Hendon model show. The paints were the ones complimentary with the kit, and in hindsight I wish that I had used the Revell acrylics that I'm used to but C'est la vie! The decals were great, hardly any silvering from them at all. Sadly for all of you I was too excited to get building and so didn't have time to stop, and take pictures in-between assembly stages, this kit was built in a night(and early morning, if you want to get technical)Here she is!The water splodges were sorted, one thing I shall do on the next one is cut the film on the decal so I don't get a mini tent on the side(under the "H") EnjoyAll the bestGuidoKM 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But as I'm sure you know, a fantastic kit. Next time I'll do some more planning before throwing the roundels in the water! Haha.
