Well started buy drilling out the holes for the stubby wings. Then glued the two half’s of the airframe together. The fit was ok but there was a bit of sanding to do.

At this point I decide the I was just going to do the bird clean so it was fill in the holes I had drilled with Mr surface. The came the problem the two cover parts for the rear of the tail just did not fit correct so out with the putty and the sanding sticks.
Looks a bit of a mess but hopefully I might get there in the end.

I like the look of this machine have tried to order it several times from Models R Go without sucess. I may pick one up at the Nationals. Your cockpit detailing looks excellent, is it all hand painted or are there some decals in there?

I also have the same set of Vallejo RLM paints, good aren't they?

No decals; then you painting technique is most impressive. I have tried to order it on their website but when I go to the checkout I am informed that my basket is empty, despite getting a message saying that it had been added to my basket.
