1/32 Mosquito PRU Revell

Well I got lucky on E-bay. I already have three of these in the stash along with a 1/24 beast and had bought a lot of Neil of Paragon fame extra bits such as two stage merlins, bulged bomb bay etc and had fancied doing a nightfighter, bomber with 2 stage merlins and a PRU machine.

I had everything for the PRU bird even down to the paint but no canopy which are as rare as hens teeth. I spotted a 1/32 Mossie up for sale on e-bay along with a wee bundle of a paragon canopy and Montex mask set. Had all that already but had a look anyway.

Scrutiny of the photo was difficult but I thought I had seen something under the plastic bag of the Paragon item. Was that a trick of the camera flash or an extra bulge on the canopy? I quick e-mail to seller confirmed I was looking at a Paragon 1/32 "PRU" canopy. One bid to e-bay and the package arrived this morning. So I have all I need for the PRU bird now and an extra Mossie to boot unless anyone is desperate for one in which case we can talk money. (to conform with rules I had better say I'd part with it for £25.00 posted to UK or BFPO and international at cost and will get a quote from Post Office).

Not bad for £38.00 though eh?

So I suppose I had better do a WIP on this. I do hear rumours of a 1/32 Mossie in the offing but in the meantime I may as well have some fun.
