1/72 Revell Junkers Ju-88A4 'Winter Camo'

Recommended Posts

Which book did you use as reference in order to make the specific camo?

BTW, an excellent build and with an unusual paint-weathering technique.

Cheers

Sernak

I have no book, no pictures of this aircraft, in my reference material.

I referred to Authentic Decals color profile - you only get the left side view and a rough idea of the upper wings.

Some artistic freedom was used for this particular finish.

Thanks for feedback, Nick.

The spinner has in fact been pre-shaded around the middle 'ring'; maybe that doesn't show on the pictures in it's full effect.

I refrained from chipping the propeller blades, as they should be wood, according to my references.

Have to find a technique to simulate 'weathered wood' for the next build.
