Stryker
This is the Revell Germany 1/48 scale F-18F depicting the 50th Anniversary of the VFA-102 Diamondbacks. This is a very nice kit and the redo on the decals makes this a very nice OOB build. The kit could use optional flaps to be displayed in the powered down position, (I was a little lazy and didn't do the necessary reconstruction on this one) a little nicer burner can on all Revell F-18's and drop tanks for the inner pylons which are naked in this kit. I opted to use GBU-24 Paveway's from the Hasegawa D set.

Stryker
Looks good. What shade of red did you use? I've got one of these to do and would like to be able to get the red right! Thanks for the comment. I used Tamiya X-7 and X-1. I just kept adding little drops of black to the red until I got a burgundy color. Then I tweeked it by just adding red or black until I matched the decals as much as possible. Make sure you mix the paint very well after each addition of black. I use a little battery powered hand mixer that works just great.

Julien
A good job, I like that scheme. Can I make one observation you have marked the bombs as live with (yellow bands), but then the missiles as inert (blue bands). Would be better if they were all live, or inert.
