Nigel Heath
I am having trouble in deciding what colour to paint my Rotodyne windscreen wipers. Please see them in this photo:http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cc/SFF_002-1055526_Fairey_Rotodyne.jpg Are they blue or black? I am leaning towards black for anti-reflection reasons, although I have seen brushed stainless steel finish on helicopter wipers so this can't be a major factor. Nigel Heath
I don't - amazing, I really want to hear this but don't know how to get hold of it.
bzn20
Its a joke! I just searched the RCA cat.No and the EP has just four tracks, none of them aircraft shaped! I checked that picture again and its been mocked. Still funny, Belafonte Calypso'ed just about everything but the Rotodyne. A bit like John Candy's polka polka band in Home alone. slufdriver
I can't be sure from that picture but dark grey is certainly a possibility. From experience (i.e. types flown) I've seen wiper arms in black, very dark grey and fuselage (or cheatline) colour. So I don't think you'd be wrong with either dark grey or blue. (Cue somebody with a picture proving me wrong). Richard
Nigel Heath
I think I will go with Tank Grey. My new wipers have still not arrived.
Kev1n
I suppose it depends on how accurate you want to be and how accurate your refs are, but I'd go with dark grey for the metal bits and black for the rubbery bits that actually wipe the windows. And a dab of bright silver for any nuts or bolts
