Arniec Posted October 15, 2013 Author Share Posted October 15, 2013 Hi Guys, Here are some pictures after the first painting stage. I have painted the wingtips and tail Yellow. I hope that the yellow of the decals match (or nearly match) the paint. I have tested it, but after painting it I have my doughts about if it's the right colour. Fingers crossed. I have also painted the interiors of the flaps red. I hope to paint the model tomorrow or thursday Blue. But no more talking. here are the pictures. Before I started painting I masked of the yellow. Now I will have to wait till tomorrow before I can remove the tape. Here are the pictures. That can explain why it looks so bright. Also the paint was still wet. Next time I will take them without flash. There will also be a few coats of clear gloss for the decals. I did needed some small touch ups, but nothing serius. The paint still feels if it hasen't curred compleatly, so I leve it for another day and will try to do the silver tommorow. Alclad is unforgiving in that. From a distance it looks good. I also made the fatal eror to use flat black instead of gloss. A, you live and learn. Here are the pictures. I also painted some small details. Here are the pictures. That the underside looks liter is because that it is closer to the lamp. I hope to give her a coat of clear later on to seal all the decals.
