moaning dolphin
Hello everybody! Another of my recent efforts this time a Swordfish from the excellent new Airfix line. Went together quite well but I complicated things by the way i do rigging. In the end it came out quite nicely. Painted with my trusted Humbrols and hairy stick and done up as an 820 bird as it was an old squadron of mine (although a long time after the swordfish!!) Cheers now Bob
dogsbody
Nice one, painted the hard way. What did you use for the rigging/control wires? Chris
steveinns
Nice one there Bob. The floatplane version looks interesting, but the price here is unrealistic.
Learstang
Another great-looking Airfix Stringbag! I really need to finish mine, but the rigging scares all life out of me. Regards, Jason
moaning dolphin
I used elastic thread as I find it quite forgiving when tensioning. Don't be scared with rigging, just start on something simple to learn a technique that suits you!
