Kotobukiya Metal Gear Rex Vietnam?

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

First of all, greetings from The Netherlands!

I have just finished my latest project and I would like to share this with you. It's Kotobukiya's Metal Gear Rex in what I think is a Vietnam camo. I first sprayed the entire model in Alclad aluminum and after the camo had been applied, I scraped the colors off to show the underlying aluminum again to create the effect of chipped paint. This was all experimental.

Enough said; here are the pics, enjoy!!

Found the Tactical Pod on ebay.

Still like it, Don't like the price though!

Imai did do some weird (but good) stuff.

You should repost those build pics on here.

Thanks for the link.

Pete
