James G
Hi All, Bit of a random one but here we go...I'm one of those lucky people that still has a few bottles of the old-formula Johnson's Klear, and I have noticed that my bottles have accumulated assorted gunge near the bottom (dust, etc.). I was thinking of filtering my Klear into a clean glass jar through something, possibly muslin cloth, but that may be too fine. Has anyone filtered Klear before, and if so what did you use? Thanks James
rmcclure
I have to do this from time to time and muslin, kitchen towel, tshirt material - it all works as long as it's clean.

gruffy
A pair of tights cut into a small piece work well. Don't forget to ask the wife/ girlfriend first!
Nigel Heath
I too have cloudy gunk at the bottom of my bottle of Klear, how does it get in there? I have only about 4cm left in the bottle but have not yet found the need to filter. I routinely filter matt varnish and use nylon stocking material for that but not sure if its fine enough to filter out the cloudy stuff.
Nigel Heath
This photo is not very clear (pun) but this is the cloudy gunk at the bottom of my bottle of Klear.
