Mike
Looks great Dave - I'd knock the flash off on your next lot of photos, as it washes them out a bit
Navy Bird
Looking nice! I just picked up the 72nd scale Trumpy Wyvern from Squadron at 50% off. Very nice kit and quite "un-Trumpy" like, which is probably due to having the tooling done by Monochrome in Japan. Is that the case with the 48th scale kit? Look for Trumpeter/Monochrome on the sprue tabs. I didn't know the Wyvern had the distinction of the first underwater ejection (I shudder even thinking of that). Hopefully the poor chap survived! Cheers, Bill
Shar2
There aren't any markings on the 48 sprues.
Shar2
Some slightly better pics, this time with added prop and tail feathers. The prop can still be removed for when I gloss, decal and matt varnish the aircraft. Canopy just placed on to get an idea of what it'll look like on. Shar2
Well we're nearly done. decals on, with some minor problems. Having got paint on the canopy from an airbrush blowback, I've managed to make it a bit more presentable with some very fine wet and dry and some canopy polish. It's not perfect, but at least the pilot can see out now.
