Fairey Firefly I

Z1830/5-M of 1770 Sqn flying from HMS Indefatigable in July 1944.

This aircraft was the first production Firefly. It particpated in Operation MASCOT, the attacks on the Tirpitz

Kit: Special Hobby 1/48 "Home Fleet"

Aftermarket: Barracuda canopy; Eduard seatbelts.

Wish the pics had come out better, I really need to work on that. Anyway, thanks for the great Group Build, some really inspiring models out there! Now let's see if I can finish the Kfir for the Splendid Cats next week.
