UFO detected in Earth's Atmosphere... Sky 1 immediate launch!

Recommended Posts

Well its complete!

I can't say this is entirely 100% accurate - the kit is a bit too rubbish to get too close to the studio model and this at least LOOKS like Sky 1!

So without further ado, over to Captain Carlin...

You've made a damn good job of it, even if it isn't the most stunning kit. I doubt anyone would notice anyway, as they'll be too busy looking at the base ;)

That came out really well. The picked out panels add a lot, and like everyone else I love the base. Even better because you mounted it with a bit of asymmetry :)

Absolutely awesome!

You've done an incredible job on that kit!

I'm a big fan of UFO and this is just the most impressive model I have seen based on the series

(The theme is my ring tone and the sound of the UFO flying is my text alert)

Wow that is stunning, the base is amazing. I always used to think cotton wool as smoke looked a bit naff but you've changed my mind. The effect achieved here is very dynamic and purposeful. Brilliant job!

Lovely model, Kallisti. And that title sequence, with its incredibly accurate prediction of what 1980 would be like...

Superb job! The water effect is just awesome.

Now, I'll grant you they did a reasonable job of fending off stroppy aliens, but did Harlington-Straker ever make a single motion picture...?

Thought not -pahh!
