pigsty
Or is my maths wrong here?Yes ... and no. Your percentage approach is right but £30 off plus another £14 off makes £44 off, or a 44% reduction. Good thing you showed your working - you should still get a C! And 20% off in a shop that has kits at 20% already is a total of 36% off. Chaps, don't forget that posting your e-mail addresses in full leaves them open to harvesting by all sorts of unpleasant web-based gubbins. jargonking
Nope. If the original price was £100 then the 30% reduction would make it £70. The 20% would be 20% of £70 (ie (£14) which would make the total discount £34. Or 34% discount from the original £100. Or is my maths wrong here? Actually you're right however on closer inspection of the receipt it's worked out around 45% off the original marked prices so I'm guessing the prices on the boxes don't tally with the tills.... John
The boy and I were in the St Enoch Centre, Glasgow, branch this afternoon. Still quite well stocked but Vallejo paint almost all gone. John
Rickpadwick1801
Brighton store still open for the moment. Kits section on the lower level was quite messy with a lot of kits reduced by 40% with missing parts or damaged parts, whilst the SciFi kits were particularly empty with 1 Enterprise C but 12 of the Klingon D7 cruiser kit from Revell. I did manage to get my hands on a Dragon 1:9 scale Mark 7 Iron Man suit. I also got a number of Revell paints which were quite thin n the ground. They were very well stocked on Vallejo paints and also had some Tamiya paints but not the ones I needed for my Iron Man kit. Those had to come from my local Hobby Craft. Many thanks to khimbar for the 20% off voucher I used on the iron man kit. Rick

DanSAR95
I was in metrocentre modelzone today and someone bought something with the 20% off voucher. The staff knew nothing about it but the man behind the till said, britmodeller so he knows where there from. The lady went and had had a phone call in the back and was there ages. I think they were okay with it after that. BTW, metrocentre low on plane kits but decent amount of paint where Newcastle has lots of kits but hardly any revell aqua left.
