The former. Did it for fun in my youth.

Everything else thereafter seemed a tad beige.

Hence the skiing mishaps and cycling near-misses.

I can add the 787 to my list as of yesterday, as my family and three quarters of our luggage flew on a Qantas 787-9 on the Heathrow-Perth-Melbourne route. No idea what aircraft the rest of our luggage will travel on when it makes it to us!

Definitely skydivers are adrenaline junkies. Once during a weather hold they decided to race the fuel bowser and the fire truck up and and down the runway with some of them sitting on top of the trucks.🤯

I quit skydive flying eight years ago but I've been asked to come back recently. So yesterday I went for a visit. While I was there an Auster in British army markings took  off from a neighbouring strip. I'm going to  make friends with the owner. My next type.

Such an old thread but it got me thinking and surprised myself how many different types I've managed to fly in, my first thought was my history would be too boring (and it probably is!😂)

Just for fun (in chronological order...)

Boeing 747-400 BA

Probably forgot a few, and hoping there are plenty more to come!

Bold are ones I've actually flown.

For added value, I've included the full flight simulators I've flown and taught on outside operational flying as well!
