Spitfire Mk.1 1/48 +eduard pe cockpit

Recommended Posts

hello to all, this˙s my first model that will NOT end in the trash :D

it was done in combination with tamiya and local hobby store spray (top side) and brush for the under side. maybe I exceeded with some weathering and washing, but I had some problems with spraying, so some panells (8 of them) are a little bit darker than the rest, but I think that all seems ok in the end. let me know what do you think so I can improve myself more and more :-)

cheers!

Excellent Spitfire! I think that the weathering works very well, including extending the panel line wash on the decals (they really look painted on!).

Perhaps the top coat is the barest trifle shiny, but that may be an effect of the lighting.

Very well done! :clap2: Do you plan to mount it in flying position on some kind of pedestal?

Kind regards,

Joachim

the finish is in glossy varnish yes, I must get some mat spray so I will fix it immediately. The plan is to put the plane on some sort of pedestal yes, but I have to think of something, any ideas are welcome
