IPMS19
- Model from Special Hobby in 48 scale I built for a friend who fought during Algerian war.The H21 was known by the name of " Fliyng banana" -The ground is made of a Japanese garden plastic footstep. - The grey sky is the same we met on the hill tops of the "Djebel" could be translate as "country side" during winter time.
Tony Edmundson
Very nice ! I likey a lot !! Piasecki was the manufacturer, later the Vertol/Boeing company, though. Tony Edited June 16, 2013 by Tony Edmundson

IPMS19
- As an after thought, the H 21 originated with Piasecki not Sikorsky and then turn over to Vertol and then Boeing/Vertol; Apologize for this misidentification. You are perfectly right Tony
TCinLA
That's not an easy kit in my experience, but your result is outstanding.

Martian
Nice! How did you find the kit? I built the Fonderie kit of the type a few years ago and found it a real pig, especially around the transparencies. I fancy doing another H-21 in the future but not the FM kit. IPMS19
-I think I made a small misunderstanding with Martin Hale's question. -This kit from Special Hobby is of course a short run kit with all that it means but nothing which couldn't be mastered, the main problem comes with the cockpit glazing separated in two halves which make the cementing rather troublesome and I remember having replaced all the portholes glazing.
