dadgaddad
I took my 4 year old son to the Cosford airshow and he has not stopped talking about the Red Arrows since. When I saw this starter set in my LMS with a quid off I bought it for him. He liked cutting the parts off and painting but glueing and decals were less interesting. I guessed this when half way through he said, "I'm bored now" and wandered off to watch CBeebies. He soon came back when it was time to paint it red. Here we have a diorama of an interesting time in Red Arrows history when planes were towed by Spiderman Transformers.

heloman1
Fantastic, keep feeding him kits, you never know he may just get hooked. Just like the rest of us. Colin
Filler
This site still demoralises daily. Yesterday it was a someone with a Hornet built in just 3 days and now a 4 year old is rubbing my talentless nose in it! Keep up the good work kiddo! burncpt
Brilliant! I wasn't expecting to come on here for a chuckle but the deadpan introduction of the Transformers diorama was genius! And a jolly good model to boot.
sunray
This was my first kit back in the times of black and white telly but this one is 100 times better than my one. Well done!
scorpiomikey
Very nice, im thinking about getting my mates 3 boys into it at some stage, i was going to ask what an appropriate age is, but i think they're all over 5. Im guessing you wielded the knife most of the time?
JOCKNEY
Great stuff, doing models with the kids is my excuse for doing models at all. Also keeping the finished one's on the kids ceiling deals with storage issues. Dare one suggest a kids section on the website for us parents grandparents etc so showcase "emerging talent"
