chrisrope
I've just received some decals off ebay of 1/48 and 1/72 RAF codes. A quick dig around on the net shows them to be TMC models sheets. These are them, I got 3 sheets of grey codes and 3 of sky http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-X-SHEETS-OF-MODEL-DECALS-1-48-1-72-SKY-TYPE-S-LETTERS-AND-NUMBERS-NEW-/121124408051?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item1c3393caf3#ht_730wt_958 Anyway they look OK to me, its just their application that is interesting. You wet it as usual and put them in place on the model. However the carrier film is on the top and you have to leave the decal to fully dry (overnight say) Then once dry, remove the carrier film, leaving the decal (hopefully) on the kit with no carrier film at all. Has anyone used decals that use this method and are there any tips to be had? Cheers Chris
