RAF groundcrew overalls 20-30's

Has anybody any idea as to the style and colour of RAF groundcrew overalls used between the wars?

All the pictures I have seen seem to be "posed" with crew in white overalls and peaked caps for the photographer.

Initially they were khaki (NCO's dust/lab coats continued to be khaki into the 60's). In a number of pictures I've looked at, the later (1930's) one piece overalls appear to be a collarless dark blue/grey colour that matches the newly issued side (chipbag) hat.

Just to add a little. The normal footwear for working on aircraft was the standard issue Plimsol. IIRC the opening scenes of the B of B film correctly shows the groundcrew overalls when they burn the Hurricanes. I must dig it out.
