IXGR1 Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 (edited) G'day guys, I was roaming through the Armor section and found that I couldn't not post my latest effort. 1st armored division, AS-1 Leopard MBT - as configured for "going Bush" Here then is a REAL Aussie tank, we can't have 'you' Poms thinking an Abrams is all "Aussie" - can we ? ;-) I used the Testors 1/35 west German Leopard kit with the pick of both the Aussie Armor and Armor Bits AS-1 convertions (I actually put the resin Aussie Armor basket inside the Armor Bits PE basket), a Perfect Scale Modellbau barrel, and the Mouse House decal sheet. I put two clear sections in he spotlight to give it some lense type quality The scrim netting is made from bandage with glued sawdust - and painted green...... Hope you like ! - comments PLEASE (BTW - qualifier for the "you POM's" comment, I'm an English imigrant to Australia +30 Years ago.....)
