Finn
I visited RAF Waddington in 1984 and F-4s from Coningsby were flying out of there while Coningsby's runways were being re-surfaced and i watched some load training and they had AIM-9Gs. Selwyn
I visited RAF Waddington in 1984 and F-4s from Coningsby were flying out of there while Coningsby's runways were being re-surfaced and i watched some load training and they had AIM-9Gs. Jari When load training loading the AIM 9G or 9L is basically the same, so what type of drill missile they used would not indicate what operational missile was in use. ghb180658
Great, means my Eduard brassin AIM 9L/M wont go to waste then!!!By the mid 80s we were using SkyFlash and 9Ls as the primary weapons. These were loaded for QRA(I) in UK and Battle Flight in Germany but we still had Sparrow and 9Gs available.Take your pick! Geoff
