fightersweep
Hi All; In a continuing fit of nostalgic modelling, I've started the second Tamiya kit I built when I was 13 years old. It's the Damiler Scout Car, and I have a couple of questions as I'm usually an aircraft type who's a little rusty in the armour department. The instructions suggest either white, cream or the exterior colour for the interior of the vehicle. Are there any hard and fast rules as far as this is concerned, or is it a case of take your pick? Also, as I want to do the 7th Armoured option, was the desert sand colour painted over green, or were they generally supplied in the desert colour from the factory? Maybe both apply. I ask from the viewpoint of weathering, as I suppose I could have green showing through the sand colour? Blimey! I might have a lot to learn! If I enjoy this, I might have to build my first and third ever Tamiya kits again...the Harley/MP set and the SdKfz 222. Thanks in advance! Regards; Steve
Black Knight
I only know of one in a regimental museum and the interior is the same shade of green as the exterior.
