Interesting to see how different modellers tackle the same kit differently :) (I assembled the sides to the lower fuselage first). Good luck with the rest! Will the aircraft be flying or on the ground?

I'm building it up on the ground with the stock intakes. My display cabinet is placed such that the shallow intakes aren't really visible.

I've got the main fuselage fully together now.

I departed from the instructions for the nose, what I did was installed the gear bay/cockpit to the upper fuselage first, then added the sides individually and finally the under-nose section in front of the gear bay. This worked a lot better than trying to assemble the full lower nose & cockpit prior to adding it to the rest of the fuselage.

Haven't forgotten this one, just have been lazy about posting updates.

Got the main fuselage all cleaned up, then shot the black for the cockpit:

And after that was the main scheme. With the single GSB colour, this one was an easy one. Finally I shot the muzzle with some gunmetal and did the metallic sections right in front of the nozzle, experimenting with Paint pens for the first time. Worked nicely, but I should have bought the extra fine tips, had to use a fine paintbrush for certain spots I couldn't get the fine tip in (as the'fine' tip is 2mm wide).

Just need to do a bit of cleanup on the silver and I'll be ready to shoot the glosscote.

This morning I got up and completed the bang seat, canopy and landing light, and am now calling this one done.
