Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB 1/72 Airfix

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

this is the Airfix kit built for mag review (MAI). Basically OOB build except filter+cuckoo doors being made from scratch+custom made etched (it may later appear under Brengun label).

Cheers
Libor

Stunning as ever Libor and I think that Chris was inspirational in choosing that decal option to the Airfix kit, it looks great and has everything that you want in a Tiffy!

Cheers

PS- Love the `pig tails'!

Lovely build, looks like the kit has some super wheel well detail.

Like the others, love the pig-tails and looks like you added rivet detail also?

cheers

Thanks everyone for comments, much appreciated!

I added the rivets myself, I should have mention that in my first post.

To Emiliano: approx two weeks

Tony: hey, the schemes are lovely indeed and I love there were some great chaps at the controls too!

Cheers

Amazing! I have just finished one of these and then I go and check this out and feel like going and hibernating! How do you go about adding the rivet detail at this scale, and then painting without losing it all again?
