rom1
Thanjs Phil! here is the WIP (in french) http://fighters.forumactif.com/t58329-u-boot-typ-viic#1064365 The colour variations are done by airbrush mottling. Then chipping is done with a fine brush. Firt light chips, then dark chips in the light chips. After clear cote, I applied an oil sepia wash. Some white is painted with oil on restrained zones. Then I added the rust streaks always with oil paints: sepia, raw umber, sienna... Et voilà! Romain

Orion
Just finished some books regarding this type VII©. Living conditions, toilet arrangements under water (buckets). The smell, the tension on extreme long voyages and so on. It makes me look with even more interest to this model. Ik looks to me like a job well done.
