chrisrope
Here is a picture my mum took when we went to the Dambusters 50th Flypast on 16th May 1993. I was 12 at the time and skived off school for the day, as did many others. This has been scanned from the original photograph so isn't amazing.I do have some more somewhere but can't remember where. I would love to go to the flypast next week but unfortunately won't be able to go Apart from the Lancaster, there were flypasts by 2 Tornado's, C-130 Hercules, BBMF Spitfire, Mosquito and a rescue dispaly by the SAR Sea King. The display ended with the best Red Arrows display i've ever seen, the syncro pair crosses being right over the dam and below the line of the hills. A day I will always rember Chris Edited May 10, 2013 by chrisrope

Did they come down the valley in pairs, I swear I have a picture of a pair of Tornados.
