russ c
Hi Everyone, Heard a rumour (and I hope I`ve not been the victim of an elaborate hoax) on another site that Revell are going to release this baby later this year,so I thought I`d show you an earlier attempt I did of the kit. It`s about 90% from the box, done to represent a version from the early days of the Vietnam war Decals are all from the stash With cowl shutters and weapons from unused items from a Tamiya kit Undercarraige legs from my lads Esci kit Scratch built a new instrument panel, tarted the seats up a bit, emptied the `blue room` and put some flack curtains and cargo hardpoints on the floor, boxed in the wheel wells..... and embellished the antenna on the canopy roof. Keep meaning to find a better prop` for it one day, but I`m fairly happy with the result, if Revell do issue it I intend to do an `Electric Spad` next. Hope you enjoy looking at.
AndyC
Nice work - I did this for the KUTA IV build a couple of years ago and it ended up as a bit of a 'Franken-Spad'...Matchbox fuselage, ESCI wings and Monogram prop and wheels and weapons nicked from the spares box. That Matchbox wing was unusable in my kit

Orion
Old soldiers never die. Matchbox 1/48) A real beauty for a good price. Well executed. Regards, Dirk The Netherlands.
TCinLA
Really nice work on that hoary old collection of spare plastic. If they do re-release it, and you do get one, Cobra Company makes an excellent resin cockpit, and Falcon did a very nice vacuform canopy.
